Welcome to WHEN’s Blog! The goal of our thread is to share stories and communicate important social concerns both within our community and worldwide. As members of WHEN, our hope is to educate and learn from our peers by raising awareness about issues relating to gender equality, sustainable development and equitable education. We encourage everyone who would like to share their stories or write about a topic they are passionate about to use the blog as their voice. Topics for blog posts can encompass a wide range of concerns within our local community and globally. Some possible ideas include womxn’s health, the wage gap/womxn in the workplace, womxn’s education, garment factories, equitable education, BLM movement, inclusionary & intersectional feminism, etc. Feel free to branch out and write about anything that interests you the most.

Some things to keep in mind when writing your blog post: PLEASE BE KIND! We are an open platform for discussion and expression so it is very important that when writing or commenting on blogs that you are respectful of everyone’s ideas and opinions. Be sure to use your own voice, but feel free to share any resources you deem relevant. Lastly, as a club we are all actively working to be more inclusionary and representative of all womxn’s voices because we want all genders, races, classes, identities to have access to education and to feel empowered.
